Why Are Northwest Saddle Blanket Seat Covers Better?
Most saddle blanket seat covers look tough, but fail where it matters.
Common Problems with Traditional Saddle Blanket Covers:
- Weave separates over time
- Dirt and sand pass through fabric
- Acrylic backing scratches leather
- Cracking and residue buildup
Our Solution: Outlaw™ Saddle Blanket Technology:
We engineered a non-woven Tyvek®-style backing that:
- Stabilizes fabric (no stretching or separation)
- Protects leather and cloth seats
- Blocks dirt, dust, and debris
- Won't crack, peel, or leave residue
At Northwest Seat Covers, we engineer products that combine rugged durability with modern comfort. Our Outlaw™ Saddle Blanket Seat Covers are designed to meet or exceed the standards of Wrangler seat covers, giving you confidence in every drive.
Upgrade your vehicle interior with our Solid Saddle Blanket Seat Covers in Black - they’re engineered for maximum durability, comfort, and timeless western style. Designed for truck owners, SUV drivers, and everyday commuters. These seat covers combine rugged performance with a clean, modern black finish that complements any interior. Made from heavy-duty 2,600 denier polypropylene fabric, they deliver exceptional strength and long-lasting performance, backed by an abrasion rating of over 100,000 wear cycles making them ideal for work vehicles, outdoor use, and daily driving.
Also referred to as Mexican blanket seat covers, Indian blanket seat covers, western or wrangler seat covers, traditional saddle blanket materials often lacked proper backing, causing the weave to separate over time. This allowed dirt, debris, and moisture to pass through, damaging the original upholstery. Some manufacturers attempted to fix this issue with sprayed acrylic backing, but this solution often led to scratched leather, voiding the OEM warranty, cracking, and residue buildup that made interiors messy and uncomfortable.
At Northwest Seat Covers, we engineered a better solution. Our exclusive Outlaw™ Saddle Blanket technology features a non-woven, Tyvek®-style backing that stabilizes the fabric while protecting your seats. This advanced layer prevents stretching and separation while acting as a barrier against dust, sand, and debris. Unlike abrasive materials, it is safe for both leather and cloth interiors, ensuring your seats stay protected without damage.
These seat covers are designed with a made-to-fit various shapes and contours that mold seamlessly to your vehicle’s seats, delivering a tailored, factory-like appearance, while padded backing enhances comfort for long drives. The breathable fabric adapts to seasonal changes keeping seats warm in winter and cool in summer making them perfect for four-season use.
Using OEM standards as a guide, our saddle blanket covers are lightfast, colorfast, and mold resistant, ensuring they maintain their look and durability over time. Each set is custom-fit for most pickup trucks, SUVs, minivans, and includes headrest covers, map pocket for a complete interior upgrade. Whether you're protecting the interior in your new vehicle or extending the life of your current one, Northwest seat Covers offer a reliable, high-performance solution.
If you’re searching for durable, stylish, and protective seat covers, our Solid Saddle Blanket Black Seat Covers deliver unmatched value. Designed for real-world use and built to last, they provide the ultimate combination of protection, comfort, and western-inspired style.

Northwest Seat Covers - Seat Style Guide

HEADREST AND LATCH HOLES
In many models, headrest holes, power holes and/or latch holes are not cut. This is due to past trouble with properly aligning the covers once the holes were cut. In these cases, it was deemed better to cut the holes once the cover is properly aligned and installed.
To make these holes, simply install the cover, then cut a small "X" over the area where the hole needs to be. Then, in the case of a latch hole, lift the cover up and slide the latch through the hole.
This process ensures that the holes are placed in the correct spot every time!
