Toyota RAV4 1995-2025+ (5 Generations spanning more than 30 years)
Toyota started developing the RAV4 in 1989 and introduced it as a Concept vehicle at the Tokyo Motor Show. It was a hybrid mix of car, station wagon and truck, a true Crossover vehicle. The platform was borrowed from the popular Corolla and suspension from the Celica-GT for handling and stability and finally the engine was borrowed from the Camry. By the North American launch for the 1995 Model Year, all the parts were packaged together and released as the Toyota RAV4. It may have only had 110hp back in the early days but, by 2024, the RAV4 Prime Hybrid had a very respectful 302hp - not bad … not bad at all! Perfect Montana Classic Look Without the MessI wanted that authentic, old-school multi-color western look for my truck but was worried about standard woven covers coming apart. Northwest nailed it with these. The Tyvek-style backing is genius—it keeps the heavy 2,600 denier weave completely tight and doesn't leave any weird acrylic dust on my seats. Completely Dog-Proof for Rear 60/40 SplitMy 90-pound lab rides on the rear 60/40 split bench, and his long claws haven't managed to snag this compressed nylon fabric at all. Dog hair doesn't stick to the material either; I just wipe it down with a damp cloth. It's a lifesaver for our upholstery.
